On December 10 and 12, the 2019 CMSemicon Winter New Product Introduction Meeting in South China themed "More Smart Chips Lead the Future" was successfully held in Shunde and Shenzhen respectively. CMSemicon shared its latest new products and solutions for home appliances, consumer, wireless, IoT, motor and high-precision measurement in the second half of the year with the guests and customers, and gave a new definition of domestic substitution.

During the meeting, Mr. Zhou Yan, General Manager of CMSemicon, delivered a speech and his appreciation for their long-time support and trust to the company. Since 2018, CMSemicon is committed to promoting value creation in three aspects:

New definition from "dare to use domestic chips" to "willing to use domestic chips"

 As the trade conflict between China and the United States intensifies, chip manufacturing has become a major concern, where domestic substitution has become an imperative.

As a pioneer of the chip design in China, CMSemicon insists on making good, complete and more competitive products. On the one hand, we are actively enriching our product series and increasing our technology reserve to catch up with the products from international giants in Europe and America in terms of quality and performance, in order to solve the problem of domestic substitution. Five new products of CMSemicon Were Released

The technical experts of SMIC showed the latest R&D achievements in the second half of 2019. The new product series focus on home appliances, consumer, IoT, measurement and motors, including BAT32G135, an ultra-low-power BAT product; CMS80F series, an 8051 product; dual-mode touch, free selection (Mode I: built-in capacitance; Mode II: external capacitor); RISC CMS79F series; motor CMS32M5532/33 series.

Mr. Miao Xiaoyu , Vice President and Technical Director of CMSemicon, said that the significant investment and technical innovation in these areas will lay the cornerstone for the company’s diversified development.

Complete layout: focusing on core businesses in multiple fields

In addition to the release of MCU, solutions and tools and other hardware products, Mr. Liu Zeyu also introduced the clear layout of the company’s future in product architecture improvement, R & D design capabilities, and marketing model upgrade.

Since the successful mass production of the first chip in 2002, the company has completed the design and promotion of more than 100 MCU products, and now has a batch supply of MCU based on 8-bit RISC and 8051 and 32-bit ARM Cortex cores. The cumulative shipment of its chips has exceeded 6 billion units since mid-2019.
